January Member Spotlight: Marcus Strange

What do you do for work and what is your slash (aka what do you do in your free time)?

I work for the Montana Wildlife Federation as the Central Montana Field Rep. I work on a combination of public policy issues, outreach, and education. In my free time I host the Urban to Country Podcast. My other hobbies include hunting, outdoor adventuring, photography, yoga, CrossFit, and grilling.

How did you land in Helena?

I came here for a job with the City of Helena.

What is the best piece of advice that you ever received – career-related or otherwise?

Work to live, don't live to work

When do you feel the most yourself?

When I'm out of doors.

Where is the last place you explored and where do you want to explore next?

Portland, OR was the last. The list of places I'd like to hit next is long, but Central and South America are high on the list.
