What is your name?
Leann Colella

What do you do for work and what is your slash (aka what do you do in your free time)?
I am currently in the process of starting my own men's clothing line, Sharp Spruce. It has been my main focus. We launch June 29th, which is crazy! Be sure to follow us on social media. Outside of that, and to pay the bills, I work as an office manager for Access Outfitters, I am an Advocate for doTERRA and am a server at Crooked Furrow, a brand new brewery in Helena! When I am not at work, I love to be outside: camping, hiking, sitting in the sun with a margarita, whatever. I am a big kayaker and love the water. I also love to cook, sew and go on adventures with friends!

How did you land in Helena?
I lived in Helena for a while growing up. Then I moved away, went to college, and got a corporate job. I wasn't there long when I realized that I didn't want to sit behind a desk all day and wanted to jump into my own business with both feet. My parents live in Helena, so I decided to move back home with them so I could focus on my start up!

What is the best piece of advice that you ever received – career-related or otherwise?
I think the best advice I have gotten has been from my mom. She would always say 'If you have a problem, you need to solve it.' Extraordinarily simple and obvious, but true. If something is bothering you, isn't right or isn't what you want, you need to be proactive in finding a solution. As I grow up and it is really important to be aware of problems and be active in finding solutions. Happiness is number one priority!

When do you feel the most yourself?
I think when I am in my kayak on the water! It can be challenging, relaxing, fun and freeing. I love it and am so happy that it is finally summer and I can get out there.

Where is the last place you explored and where do you want to explore next?
I went to Philipsburg for Memorial Day and we camped at Georgetown Lake. It was super beautiful! Next, a friend and I are planning a trip to Banff, which would be beautiful! I am also excited to explore Helena a little bit more!

Tell us something about yourself that we didn’t ask:
I am the queen of Dad joke and puns. I am a minister and married my best friend last summer, which was super cool. I have a goal to go to every National Park.
