2021 HYP Board Vacancy Announcement

Calling all motivated young professionals!

HYP is looking for fresh faces to join the Executive Board for 2021. Do you want to apply your skills, develop valuable leadership experience, organize engaging events, or facilitate relationships with local businesses and nonprofits? Here is your chance to help guide the vision for a growing nonprofit and to get involved in the Helena community. All board officers are responsible for attending a monthly board meeting (currently all meetings are virtual due to COVID), attending the annual retreat, coordinating one networking lunch per year, and completing their special office duties described below. Marketing Director

Calling all creatives! We are currently looking for a Marketing Chair to help manage and develop the HYP brand and coordinate promotional materials for HYP events, like event banners for social media. This position works closely with the Public Relations Chair and Social Media Chair as part of the communications team.

Experience in graphic design is highly preferable!

Secretary

Do you love attention to detail, have awesome organizationals skills, and want to gain experience managing memberships? The Secretary takes accurate minutes at all meetings, responds to all membership requests and mails out all membership cards, and maintains the digital file system for the organization.

Business Outreach Chair

Love to interact with businesses and build relationships? This is the position for you! This person will work with local businesses to help promote HYP. The social chair contacts large employers in the area to help introduce their new employees to Helena via HYP.
