Come join us for a day-hike out to Casey Peak in Helena National Forest! Two of our board members, Kyle Joyner & Dan Lambson, will be leading this 12-mile hike (6 miles in, 6 miles out) ascending an elevation of 3,500 ft- any and all are welcome to come! Here is the general schedule:

8:30 am - Meet at the Les Schwab parking lot by Walmart
9:15 am - Start at the Casey Peak Trailhead on the Montana City side
12:00 pm - Lunch at the Peak/summit
1:00 pm - Head back down to the trailhead
3:00-3:30 pm - Leave Casey Peak Trailhead
3:45-4:30 pm - Arrive at Les Schwab Parking lot

Please make sure to bring the following items:

• Water (at least 3 liters)

• Lunch/snacks

• Sunscreen

• Bear Spray

• Windbreaker (it can be windy on the peak, and temps are usually 15 below Helena's)
